Summary

The confrontation between the heroes and the villains of the Paranormal Liberation Front is about to kick off！ With so much at stake， even the students of U。A。 have joined the heroes to help in the coming battles。 Within the PLF， Hawks continues to play a dangerous game as a double agent， but the villains have fearsome resources of their own， including whatever lurks in the doctor’s lab。 Plus， with every moment that passes， Tomura Shigaraki comes closer to his ultimate form… When it all gets started， there won’t be any going back！

Jumping straight into the action of the paranormal liberation war arc， this volume definitely feels like a return to what made the series great。 With a bigger focus on side characters like Hawks， Mirko and Kaminari， it was fun to see more of the story pull focus to them rather than the already well established cast。 It definitely feels like the overall plot of MHA is finally starting to move again， as despite how much I enjoyed some previous arcs， when it came to the development of the wider plo Jumping straight into the action of the paranormal liberation war arc， this volume definitely feels like a return to what made the series great。 With a bigger focus on side characters like Hawks， Mirko and Kaminari， it was fun to see more of the story pull focus to them rather than the already well established cast。 It definitely feels like the overall plot of MHA is finally starting to move again， as despite how much I enjoyed some previous arcs， when it came to the development of the wider plot， they were either filler or purely character-growth focused。 It was amazing to see so many of the pro hero’s and also class 1A/B come together in one place， and on top of that get some great character moments， especially with twice and hawks。 Hopefully the next volume is just as good， and even more character revelations are finally dropped。 。。。more

War against the Paranormal Liberation Front continues！Highlights:- Dr Garaki continues to observe Shigaraki's recovery and powerup。 Endeavor goes to the hospital to arrest him， but is fooled by one of Twice's clones。- Garaki is found by Rabbit Hero Mirko， but before she can stop him， he activates tons of High-End Nomu to fight against the heroes。 Mirko ends up losing an arm， but discovers the Nomu weakness is their head。 They can be killed by removing it。- A group of heroes attacks the PLF mansi War against the Paranormal Liberation Front continues！Highlights:- Dr Garaki continues to observe Shigaraki's recovery and powerup。 Endeavor goes to the hospital to arrest him， but is fooled by one of Twice's clones。- Garaki is found by Rabbit Hero Mirko， but before she can stop him， he activates tons of High-End Nomu to fight against the heroes。 Mirko ends up losing an arm， but discovers the Nomu weakness is their head。 They can be killed by removing it。- A group of heroes attacks the PLF mansion。 Kaminari is part of the group and helps a lot by using powerful electrical attacks against another electric user。 This， in turn， gets a lot of attention placed on him。- Hawks reveals to Twice that he is the spy in the organization， by pining him down with razor feathers。 Twice breaks down， seeing that his kind nature always gets him in trouble。 He unleashes a huge attack and the fight between Hawks and Twice begins。- Tokoyami shows off a huge upgrade in his power and control of Dark Shadow， even allowing him to briefly fight back against Re-Destro。- Hawks is defeating Twice easily， but then Dabi shows up and gets the upper hand quickly。 Dabi calls Hawks by his real name， which shows that we know very little about who Dabi really is （my guess is the missing Todoroki child， but we'll see if I'm right）- Twice is able to get away and save Toga and Mr Compress， but then is killed by Hawks。- Dabi gets the upper hand over Hawks and reveals who he is in secret。 He leaves Hawks defeated and broken。- Mirko continues to fight the High-End Nomu， losing half an ear and being stabbed through the leg before Endeavor shows up to help。WOW！ The battle is getting so intense and we have a major casualty。 Who else will we lose before this war is over？Recommend。。。。 where's the next Volume？ 。。。more

I find the volumes that are 99% action scenes to be less interesting for me， personally。 However I liked Mirko’s introduction （though she’s drawn the same way all of the women are drawn）。

this volume really had me on the edge of my seat， especially with where vol。 26 had left off。 what i appreciated the most about this volume is that both morality and mortality amongst heroes and villains are explored。 i also liked that this is another volume that doesn’t focus on deku as much and highlights other heroes within the world！

I CANNOT WAIT for this volume to be animated。 I will die， the fandom will die， and my blissfully ignorant younger sister will join us all。Unfortunately for me， the conclusion of this particular fight was spoiled for me from the get-go， given the fact that Hawks—as well as my obsession with discovering his entire character bio and development because someone compared him to my all-time favorite book character—was the entire reason I started this manga/anime （who can really be surprised at my dete I CANNOT WAIT for this volume to be animated。 I will die， the fandom will die， and my blissfully ignorant younger sister will join us all。Unfortunately for me， the conclusion of this particular fight was spoiled for me from the get-go， given the fact that Hawks—as well as my obsession with discovering his entire character bio and development because someone compared him to my all-time favorite book character—was the entire reason I started this manga/anime （who can really be surprised at my detective skills there）。 However， that didn't detract from my total enjoyment while reading this， both online and now as it's published in volume form。You also have to love Miruko， Kaminari， and Tokoyami's little bursts of growth in their shining moments。 I am a staunch supporter of Kaminari x Jirou， and Tokoyami is trying so damn hard to meet his mentor's—as well as his own—expectations of himself。Definitely one of the best volumes。 。。。more

I really wanted to like this volume as there is so much development here， but there are just so many issues too。 First， why in the living hell did this volume skip over all the planning behind the two raids。 Where was Hawks delivering the data， and the police researching the leads and coming to the conclusions that they did？ How did they figure out just which hospital they needed to raid？ It was all too rushed and not well laid out。The rushing seems to continue into the raids too。 Here we have a I really wanted to like this volume as there is so much development here， but there are just so many issues too。 First， why in the living hell did this volume skip over all the planning behind the two raids。 Where was Hawks delivering the data， and the police researching the leads and coming to the conclusions that they did？ How did they figure out just which hospital they needed to raid？ It was all too rushed and not well laid out。The rushing seems to continue into the raids too。 Here we have action scenes that are so fast-paced and hectic that the action is blurred or choppy at best。 I get that drawing everything in this volume gave the team tendinitis， but it feels like several panels were missing， or that the pacing was sacrificed for lots of fighting。 I get it， we all love the fights。 But you cannot sacrifice story build and character-driven plot and development for more fight scenes。All in all， there was too much energy in this volume that made none of the events stand out or have that much depth。 Just a lot of choppy action with little impact behind it all。 。。。more

Oh boy！ Here we go: the next arc！ I am not ready！！！ JUST NO！ Alas， it begins， so here's the review。 ChargeboltOkay， so we have Kaminari taking a bit of the spotlight with his quirk。 It was totally awesome！ I LOVED the pose he did as he is using his quirk in Chapter 263 I Wanna Be With You。 SuneaterAw！ I hope his future becomes a reality。 Plus， I think we all saw it coming！ He also did a cool vast hybrid chimera-very mythological of him。 He also had some great growth to quote Fatgum: "Great deliv Oh boy！ Here we go: the next arc！ I am not ready！！！ JUST NO！ Alas， it begins， so here's the review。 ChargeboltOkay， so we have Kaminari taking a bit of the spotlight with his quirk。 It was totally awesome！ I LOVED the pose he did as he is using his quirk in Chapter 263 I Wanna Be With You。 SuneaterAw！ I hope his future becomes a reality。 Plus， I think we all saw it coming！ He also did a cool vast hybrid chimera-very mythological of him。 He also had some great growth to quote Fatgum: "Great delivery！ Lemme hear it again！"TokoyamiThat was neat！ He improved so much！ I really like this quote about how he has improve， but it also makes me want to sing "If You Could See Me Now" by The Script: "I've improved， just like you said。 I'm becoming a stronger hero already。 Hawks， if you really are here。。。I wish you could see me now。" Aw！HawksWe learn more about Hawks' backstory in this volume。 I thought it was interesting which hero child Hawks admired when he was younger: "Can I be like him？ Can I be a hero who beats the bad guys？ Just like how I was saved。。。Can I be a shining light for everyone？" That quote floored me when you see the figurine that Hawks is holding， because this is such a different way of viewing a certain hero。 It gave me some warm fuzzy feelings。 DeathThere was a death， which is not surprising。 What is surprising is who got it。 I am sad， because I thought he could rise above his current characterization。 This character's farewell address was quite poignant。 DabiWho is Dabi？ That is a great question that Hawks， myself， and probably others are asking。 We learn that Dabi knew Hawks from earlier， because Dabi knew Hawks' real name。 Yet， Hawks has no clue who Dabi is。 This tells me that Dabi either changed a lot since Hawks knew him or Dabi knew Hawks， but Hawks did not know Dabi。 I know what one fan theory says， but as I said in my review in volume 26 that theory might be dead in the water。 Yet， this may have given more credence to that theory。 MirkoWhat？！ Verdict: That ending！！！ I REALLY do not want to see what happens next， but I will read it。 。。。more
